Building the RK SWR Meter kit.
Ron G6LTT bought a PIC-based Radio-Kits SWR Meter kit (more info here) about 3 years ago at the same time as I bought mine. He still hadn’t assembled it, so I volunteered to build it for him. Pictures below….

The RK SWR Meter kit as received from Ron G6LTT.
Just getting started.
Starting to populate the Board.
Bag one, completed. Onto bag two.
Bag two Completed.
Toroid winding, Lovely….
That counts as one turn
Four Toroids later, each has 23 turns, the one on the left is T2 and had to be wound in the opposite direction.
Not too far to go now, on to bag three.
Completed and calibrated, Ron G6LTT has the nice job of cutting the holes; the question is will it take him another three years? :).
I won’t be taking bets on that ;).
Here’s one I built earlier, well three years ago
Awaiting the photos from Ron G6LTT with the completed unit….
