70 Mhz Portable from the Rainbow and Dove

George M1GEO and I decided to take part in the 70 MHz RSGB cumulative contest over the bank holiday weekend. Using the 3e 50/70 MHz antenna @ 12m on the PU12 mast we managed to work 39 stations. Our best DX was 516KM into GI Northern Ireland.
