Ron G6LTT\u00a0bought a PIC-based Radio-Kits \u00a0SWR Meter kit (more info here<\/a>) about 3 years ago at the same time as I bought mine. \u00a0He still hadn’t assembled it, so I volunteered to build it for him. \u00a0Pictures below….<\/p>\n

Bag one, completed. Onto bag two.<\/p><\/div>\n

Toroid winding, Lovely….<\/p><\/div>\n

That counts as one turn<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Four<\/a>

Four Toroids later, each has 23 turns, the one on the left is T2 and had to be wound in the opposite direction.<\/p><\/div>\n

Not too far to go now, on to bag three.<\/p><\/div>\n

Completed and calibrated, Ron G6LTT has the nice job of cutting the holes; the question is will it take him another three years? :).
I won’t be taking bets on that ;).<\/p><\/div>\n
