All aircraft transponders transmit data on 1090 MHz. The antenna used is a discone in the loft. The receive antenna should be mounted at a high position with an undisturbed view in all directions and direct line of view of any aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>The pictures below using an Newsky DVB-T dongle, with ASDB# decoder and COAA Planeplotter.
